Empty & Full

The project dealt with the research of the concept: Empty & Full. At the beginning I mapped 80 features and concepts that appear in the painting “ALL I KNOW OF WONDER” by Emma Amos. I chose one mapping that dealt with the space between the two object, the same mapping was the inspiration for creating an abundance of models that examine with the empty versus full.
I was focusing on one material, I researched how it is possible to produce a variety of essentially different models from only one material whose properties do not change and are pre-defined for me. My final model in the project is a structure with two levels which provide us with a different view from every direction. The features leading the construction are repetition and uniformity versus non-uniformity which is expressed in several ways in the model space.
